Find the bottleneck before choosing the solution.

When everything feels urgent, choosing another activity is easy. Choosing the right constraint takes a little more thought.

ACCELERATELINK FIELD NOTES / PRACTICAL GUIDE

Start with an observable problem

Replace “we need growth” with a specific observation. For example: visitors arrive, but few ask for a conversation. Write down the period, the number of visitors and the number of enquiries.

Look at one step at a time

Follow the customer journey from discovery to value. Identify where momentum stops. Avoid changing several steps at once, because that makes the result difficult to interpret.

Choose a small experiment

Make one change with a clear owner and a review date. Define the observation that would make you continue, adjust or stop. A useful experiment reduces uncertainty even when the result disappoints.

Make the next move concrete

Write: “For the next two weeks, [owner] will [action] because we believe [assumption]. We will review [evidence] on [date].” Keep the plan short enough that everyone can explain it.
